Character & Vibe

Urban, walkable, and well-connected. Sliema has a seafront promenade, two main shopping streets (Tower Road and The Strand), and a concentration of everyday services within walking distance. It is one of the most densely populated areas in Malta.

Transport & Getting Around

Major bus hub — routes connect to Valletta, St Julian's, Gżira, and the University area. The Sliema–Valletta ferry crossing takes 10 minutes and runs frequently. No car needed for daily life.

Community & TCN Presence

Large and diverse expat and TCN presence. Many iGaming companies and hospitality businesses are based nearby. You will hear many languages on the street.
