About
Discover Malta, one place at a time
MaltaPathway is an independent visitor and discovery website for people planning a Malta trip, choosing where to stay, exploring beaches and islands, and making practical decisions on the move.
Why MaltaPathway exists
Malta is compact, but planning it well is not always simple. First-time visitors still need to compare bases, ferry days, beaches, transport choices, crowd patterns, and what is worth booking ahead.
MaltaPathway turns those decisions into clear, source-checked guides. The goal is not generic travel inspiration; it is practical help that lets a visitor decide, compare, and act.
Founder
Yassine Laassal
Building MaltaPathway as a practical, source-first visitor guide, not as a travel agency or official portal.
MaltaPathway should have a human editorial owner because destination guidance without accountability gets stale fast. The site is built around visible dates, source links, and correction paths.
The editorial standard is simple: explain trade-offs, avoid invented certainty, and point readers to official or primary sources when facts can change.
Recommendations remain editorial. Commercial links, when added, should be disclosed and should never pretend MaltaPathway operates the service being linked.
Practical first
Guides should help readers choose an area, route, beach, ferry day, or itinerary with fewer open questions.
Source checked
Transport, ferry, event, and attraction details need visible review dates and links to official pages where possible.
Independent
The site is not operated by a public authority, tourism board, airport, ferry operator, hotel, or booking platform.
Independence statement
MaltaPathway is an independent Malta visitor and discovery website. It is not operated by or affiliated with the Government of Malta, VisitMalta, Transport Malta, Malta International Airport, or any other public authority.
What MaltaPathway is not
- Not an official Malta website. Use official sources for government services, transport notices, permits, payments, and case-specific decisions.
- Not a booking operator. MaltaPathway may point to ferries, tours, hotels, or attractions, but it does not operate them.
- Not legal, medical, or safety advice. Check current official guidance and local conditions before acting.
What we cover first
The current editorial focus is Malta visitor planning:
- where to stay for first-time visitors, families, nightlife, ferries, or no-car trips
- airport transport, bus cards, ferries, and practical arrival choices
- Gozo, Comino, Blue Lagoon, beaches, itineraries, and day-trip trade-offs
- future events, festas, food, halal-friendly, accessibility, and family-friendly guides once verification workflows are ready
Official social channels
Follow MaltaPathway for guide releases, Malta planning notes, and practical visitor updates. These are MaltaPathway channels, not Maltese government or tourism authority pages.
Editorial policy
We write for visitors who need useful decisions, not padded destination copy. When details change often, pages should show a review date and direct readers to primary sources.
Source policy
Primary sources come first: official transport operators, official attraction pages, event organizers, local councils, and public authorities where relevant.
Monetization disclosure
MaltaPathway may later earn from ads, affiliate links, or labelled sponsorships. Commercial placements must be disclosed and must not override editorial judgement.
Correction policy
If a page is wrong, stale, or missing a source, send the URL and correction to hello@maltapathway.com. We prioritize corrections that affect travel decisions, safety, prices, opening times, transport, or accessibility.
