MaltaPathway is an independent Malta visitor and discovery website. It is not operated by or affiliated with the Government of Malta, VisitMalta, Transport Malta, Malta International Airport, or any other public authority. Our recommendations reflect our own research and editorial judgement, not an official position.

How we research and source

Where possible, we cite official sources — government portals, transport operators, and official tourism bodies — with publisher names, URLs, and the date we last checked them. Where details such as prices, schedules, or opening hours can change, we say so and point readers to the official source for the current figure rather than guessing.

We do not invent prices, schedules, statistics, or business listings. If we cannot verify a claim, we either omit it or mark it clearly as something to confirm before relying on it.

How we keep guides current

Each guide shows a "last updated" or "last verified" date. Pages covering prices, transport, opening hours, and similar time-sensitive details are reviewed periodically. If you spot something that has changed, please use our corrections page.

Commercial relationships do not drive recommendations

MaltaPathway may earn revenue from advertising, affiliate links, or labelled sponsorships, as explained in our affiliate disclosure. Editorial recommendations are based on what is useful for visitors, not on which operator pays the highest commission. Sponsored or commercial content is clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial guidance.
