Residential and practical. Less glamorous than Sliema but more affordable. The waterfront promenade connects through to Sliema. It has become increasingly popular with the growing TCN and expat population.
Buses run frequently along the main road to Valletta, Sliema, and the University. The Sliema ferry is a 15-minute walk. Walking distance to the University of Malta campus area.
Significant TCN presence — Bangladeshi, Indian, and Filipino communities are well-represented. Several ethnic grocery shops and restaurants serve the community.
