Skills Pass
A sector-specific training and certification programme, currently required for tourism and hospitality workers.
The Skills Pass is a competency certification programme managed by Jobsplus, currently mandatory for third-country nationals working in Malta's tourism and hospitality sector.
Workers must complete the Skills Pass training in addition to the mandatory pre-departure orientation course before their Single Permit is issued. The programme covers role-specific skills and service standards.
The Skills Pass requirement may be extended to other sectors in the future. Employers are responsible for enrolling their employees.
